Foundation Stage

Our Foundation Stage classroom is a welcoming, calm, and nurturing environment where young learners take their first steps into school life. The space is thoughtfully designed to spark curiosity and imagination, with engaging areas for role play, creative arts, early writing, and number exploration.

Children are encouraged to learn through play, developing independence, confidence, and a love of learning in a setting that celebrates their individuality. Every corner of the classroom is carefully organised to provide hands-on experiences that support the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum.

Alongside a wide range of carefully selected resources, we place great emphasis on outdoor learning, with regular opportunities for children to explore nature, build social skills, and develop physical confidence.

Led by Mrs Collington, our Foundation Stage team of experienced and caring staff ensures that each child feels safe, valued, and supported as they grow socially, emotionally, and academically.

The Foundation Stage classroom is more than just a place to learn – it is the beginning of a lifelong journey of discovery, creativity, and joy in education.
